Those of you who have wished for some national updates are now in for a treat :). We have a lot of interesting stuff going on in that department at the moment. Finland’s answer to Justin Bieber: teenage pop-icon and multi-platinum selling artist Robin just released a new album including the song “Tatuoitu” (Ahlstedt, Paalanen, Constantine, Robin). Another piece of good news is an album release from the very belowed and legendary Finnish artist Vicky Rosti, now celebrating 40 years as an artist. Track no.7: Susilapsi (Ahlstedt, Svärd) got the best review (in Finnish) possible! Helsingin Sanomat, Finland’s biggest newspaper called it a real jewel. Another Finnish interesting release is “Mä meen” (Ahlstedt, Finnish lyrics by Nomi, English lyrics by Fuentes) by young and up-coming artist Nomi. This one also produced by N. It will reach out to you on airplay by the end of next week: Stay tuned! I&N
Sweet as candy and a sight for sore eyes: Chinese pop-star Jane Zhang’s record samples arrived a couple of days ago. The lovely chocolate box look-alike contained a cd, posters and bonus tracks. Something for the European market to copy when record sales are dropping! Who could resist this kind of package?
Song no.10: on the album “The seventh sence” newly released is by Nalle Ahlstedt, Petri Somer and Herbie Crichlow. Although the dolphin princess of c-pop still is quite unknown in our part of the world, the situation is quite different in China. This Oprah Winfrey clip says it all :)!
A lot of other stuff and releases going on as well. Promise to keep you all posted asap!
Good feedback is always inspiring! Quoting Scandipop:
“Helena Paparizou, fresh from conquering the Melodifestivalen stage with THOSE performances of THAT song earlier this month, continued being amazing at everything this week, when she returned with the release of her new album ‘One Life’. And what do we have here? We have the best pop album of the year so far, dear readers.”
Like music to our ears… 😉

Just received this one in the mail today: a copy of the newly released cd Obsession by Linda and the Punch. Track n:o 8: Kill the Lights is written by me and Tommy Denander. For me this is the first time to break ground on British soil. Wishing lovely Linda the best of luck and many gigs!
Helena Paparizou delivers as usual! The album One Life (including “Crazy for Love” by Ahlstedt, Somer and Fuentes) was released the 26th of March and is already climbing the Swedish album chart at the speed of sound.
Molly Rosenström is another young lady to be very proud of. Her album Stardust” and single “Half Life” (Ahlstedt, Halloun, Fabrin)were just released and she has already appeared in two TV shows performing Half Life this week. Watch a clip by pressing the link below.
For every active player in the music industry, time is a valuable and rare resource. A slow news feed on this particular site is just a sign of a lot of activity elsewhere, concerning the core business.
2014 seems very promising so far. Last weekend we were in for a treat since Linus Svenning and Helena Paparizou both advanced to semifinal/second chance in the Swedish national Eurovision Song Contest; Melodifestivalen. Both Linus and Helena will be releasing new albums this spring and there will be Nalle’s handwriting (production and songwriting) on both of them. Linus has booked two songs and Helena one. The latter is not only by Nalle, but also a D8 Music song. We are wishing both of them the best of luck in the up-coming competition.
Some other news from Sweden: In January the Swedish girl band Sister Love released their album containing two of Nalle’s songs. “Music Use It” and “Love Breakdown”.
